E. C. Driver & Associates, Inc. was a full-service, Florida based, consulting engineering firm providing services to public and private clients in the areas of civil engineering, transportation planning, design and construction engineering and inspection. The firm was founded by Ernest Carl Driver in Tallahassee in 1984. In January of 1995, ECDA was acquired by URS Corporation and continued to function as a wholly owned sub-division until fully merging with URS in December of 2012. In the movable bridge industry ECDA had been nationally recognized for expertise in structural engineering, heavy machinery, control systems and fluid power systems. Now under the URS banner, our staff of structural, mechanical and electrical engineers continue to carry on the tradition for excellence in movable bridge engineering established by "Doc" Driver during his distinguished four decade career.
